The different oscillator modes with its parameters give you way more than just saw, tri, square and pulse wave. You get saws that are detuned with the B parameter, even without using more than just one oscillator. You get alls kind of sync and ring modulation within one oscillator. And other modes allow you can morph the waveshapes. And each the two oscillators may set to a different mode. And you may modulate the B parameter of each oscillator by one of the 3 LFOs or 3 envelopes and other sources. So you get more than basic oscillators. You got different Lp and BP mode filters with the well known Modal Morph parameter to change the filter character on the go. And you get the same modulation possibilities as known from the Argon8.
