Korg Studio MIDI Controller K25

I nutze diese kleine 2 Oktaven Tastatur mit normal breiten Tasten um Sequenzer zu transponieren. Es arbeitete immer bestens, ab nun gibt es keine 64-Bit Unterstützung für die benötigte kleine Software um die Kanalnummer zuverändern. Es gibt keinen Weg den MIDI-Kanal am Gerät selber einzustellen. Also habe ich den MIDI-Ausgang der Korg Software beobachtet und daraus 16 Dateien zum Umstellen des MIDI-Kanals via SysEx Daten erzeugt. Man sendet die benötigte Datei an das über USB angeschlossene Korg K25. Der Empfänger nennt sich "CTRL" in deiner SysEx-Software. Wenn es nicht funktionieren sollte, so hast du vielleicht die Daten versehentlich an den ebenfalls angeschlossenen K25 USB MIDI-Port namens "MIDI OUT" gesendet.

Lade die SysEx Daten in einer ZIP-Datei von 3414 Bytes hier. Es sollte auch mit Korg K49, K61 und K61p funktionieren, aber das konnte ich bisher nicht testen.

Wenn man das K25 mittels USB mit Strom versorgt, so bleibt der MIDI Ausgang stumm. Also schließe ein externes Netzteil (9 V Gleichstrom, innerer Kontakt ist minus) an, wenn du die MIDI Ausgangsbuchse brauchst.

I use this little 2 octave keyboard with normal wide keys to transpose sequencers live. It worked always fine, but now there is no 64-bit support on the needed little software to change the channel number. There is no way of selecting the MIDI channel on the unit itself. So I spied on the MIDI output of the Korg software and generated 16 files to change the MIDI channel via MIDI SysEx data. Send the needed file to your connected Korg K25 via its USB port. The receiver is named "CTRL" in your SysEx software. It is not working, if you send the data to the also connected K25 USB port named "MIDI OUT".

Download the SysEx files in one ZIP file of 3414 Bytes here. It should work also with the Korg K49, K61 and K61p, but I could not yet test this.

And if you power the K25 via USB, the MIDI Out will not send data at all. So use an external PSU (9 V DC, inner contact is minus) to power the K25 when you need the MIDI Out.
